The Role:
As an integral part of Germaxco’s sales department, Business Development Executive is expected to be proactive and resourceful in gaining and retaining new customers in the fast-paced, logistics industry.

Responsibilities:
– Identify sales prospects and actively build a business development pipeline by pursuing new business opportunities in the local market.
– Plan and execute sales promotions, campaigns, and daily telemarketing for air freight, ocean freight, and other logistics services.
– Handle logistics rate negotiations for import, export and local distribution, including vendor management.
– Achieve assigned revenue and gross profit targets, with responsibility for profit and loss monitoring and follow-up on accounts receivable.
– Maintain, review, and enhance customer standard operating procedures to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient business transactions.
– Support escalation and resolution of operational service issues, working closely with inter-departmental teams.
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and awareness of industry and market trends through ongoing research.
Requirements:
– Minimum Diploma qualification
– High English proficiency (written and spoken)
– Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics
– Candidate must be result-driven with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
– Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
