The Role:
Analytical and systematic, Procurement Lead is required to work closely with stakeholders to negotiate logistics and insurance rates and maintaining vendor relationships for smooth logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities:
– Creating new and maintaining current relationships with shipping lines and vendors to provide competitive logistics solutions to customers.
– Develop measures to improve vendor management capability in the organisation including quarterly business evaluation with vendors and partners
– Serve as a thought partner to the Business Development team, leveraging to company internal resources and external networks and to participate in the team’s problem solving process.
– Proactively manage the relationship with internal business partners/customer to ensure target KPI is met and provide monthly and/or quarterly reports to Head of Department.
– Follow standard and established compliance-related administrative activities
– Supervise teams at work

Requirements:
– Understanding of sea and air shipments, warehousing and local distribution according to SG Customs, regulatory agencies (one or more of these)
– Minimum Degree certification and professional proficiency in English (written & spoken)
– At least 2 year of experience in logistics sector.
– Self-motivated individual who is highly organised in managing data sets.
– Strong analytical capability with good interpersonal and communication skills.
