The Role:
As part of the Commercial team, Business Development Manager’s role is to identify, develop and maintain new and existing pipelines for the logistics services of the company and develop team to enhance partnership with carriers and worldwide agents for development of trade lanes.

Main Responsibilities:
– Establish strong teamwork and lead team to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets in various sales channels.
– Monitor and achieve internal and customer’s key performance metrics.
– Analyze customer insights, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful sales strategies for profitability of each service segment.
– Sourcing and nurturing leads with business presentation, quotations and/or tenders through various communication channels to gain new customer and grow revenue for existing customers.
– Taking ownership of monitoring of Profit and Loss (P&L) and Accounts Receivables.
– Establish and/or maintain Standard Operating Procedures within Commercial Team, including development of sales pipelines, weekly sales call plan, opportunities conversion process.
– Analyse and submit weekly sales progress reports and monthly KPI reports to Management.
– Collaborating effectively with various departments, including Finance and Operations to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client satisfaction.
– Encourage developments within team by initiating and/or participating in process improvement projects in line with company’s requirements.

Requirements:
– Minimum Degree certification
– High proficiency in English (written & spoken)
– At least 5 years of experience in shipping/ freight forwarding sector.

– Proficient in use of Microsoft office applications and learning of computer system.
